
Renewable Energy Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to spearhead our renewable energy projects, particularly solar and wind initiatives.
Reporting directly to the Director of Project Management, this individual will oversee inspection operations across various stages of manufacturing, installation, and commissioning.
The ideal candidate must possess an in-depth understanding of QA/QC protocols, project execution, vendor management, and team leadership skills. A background in electrical or mechanical engineering is highly desirable.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead inspection teams to ensure quality control standards are met.
- Develop and implement optimized manpower allocation strategies for multiple project sites.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors to guarantee delivery and quality standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, clients, and consultants for effective project coordination and issue resolution.
- Provide detailed reporting on inspection progress, project timelines, and quality status.
- Ensure adherence to industry best practices, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Candidate Requirements:
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical preferred).
- Experience: 6-10 years in QA/QC, inspection, or operations in renewable energy (solar and wind mandatory).
- Technical Expertise:
- Detailed knowledge of solar PV systems and wind turbine components.
- Familiarity with national and international QA/QC standards for renewable energy.
- Proficiency in inspection tools, checklists, and documentation.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
- Travel requirements: frequent visits to project and vendor sites.
- Preferably experienced in utility-scale or large rooftop solar/wind projects.
