Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated testing strategies using Python to ensure efficient and effective testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop appropriate test plans.
  • Utilize automation frameworks like Selenium or Playwright to automate web-based application testing.
  • Perform API testing using REST Assured tools to ensure backend services functionality and stability.
  • Use version control systems like Git and GitHub to manage test scripts and collaborate with the team.
  • Utilize project management tools like JIRA for test case management, defect tracking, and project coordination.
  • Work with containerization tools like Docker to set up and manage test environments.
  • Conduct testing on multiple operating systems to ensure cross-platform compatibility.
  • Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) principles to create robust and maintainable test scripts.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in software development and testing.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills with hands-on experience in Python.
  • Solid understanding of automation frameworks like Playwright.
  • Proficiency in using REST Assured tools for API testing.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git and GitHub.
  • Experience with project management tools like JIRA.
  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker.
  • Familiarity with multiple operating systems.
