System Integration Specialist - Procurement & Inventory

Job Overview:

This exciting role involves end-to-end implementation and support of Oracle Fusion SCM modules including Procurement, Order Management, Inventory Management, Planning, Manufacturing, Costing. You will provide expert guidance to clients on business process mapping, configuration, and customization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementation & Support:
  • Contribute to the delivery of end-to-end implementations for various Oracle Fusion SCM modules.
  • Provide technical expertise in post-go-live support and troubleshooting, collaborating with Oracle support when necessary.

Business Process Mapping:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and map them effectively to Oracle SCM Cloud functionalities.
  • Identify gaps in existing systems and propose innovative solutions using Oracle best practices.

Configuration & Customization:

  • Configure SCM modules according to client requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for custom reports, interfaces, and extensions.

Testing & Documentation:

  • Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and support UAT.
  • Document configurations, test cases, and user guides to ensure knowledge sharing and reuse.

Client Interaction & Consulting:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on Oracle Fusion SCM solutions.
  • Participate in workshops, demos, and training sessions to enhance client engagement.
  • Manage client expectations through effective communication and project management skills.

Project Management:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams during project lifecycle phases to ensure timely delivery.
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and risks associated with Oracle Fusion SCM projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years in Oracle ERP consulting, with at least 4 end-to-end implementations under your belt.
  • 5+ years overall experience in ERP or SCM domain.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong hands-on experience in at least two Fusion SCM modules is essential.
  • Understanding of integration between SCM and other ERP modules is highly valued.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills are crucial for success in this role.
  • Ability to work independently and lead small teams is necessary.
  • Willingsness to travel for short/long-term onsite assignments is required.

Tools & Methodologies:

  • Familiarity with Agile methodology is an asset.
  • Experience with AMS (Application Management Services) and production support is highly valued.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field is preferred.
  • Domain/industry experience in manufacturing, retail, or logistics is a plus.
  • Certifications in Oracle Cloud SCM modules are advantageous.
