Senior Speech AI Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional Speech AI Engineer to join our team and lead the development of advanced speech technologies. This role focuses on fine-tuning ASR/TTS models, implementing MLOps best practices, and building production-ready speech AI systems.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity for experienced Speech AI Professionals to apply their skills in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the growth of our organization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Speech AI Model Development & Integration:
    • Fine-tune state-of-the-art ASR/TTS models for domain-specific applications with 300ms latency
    • Build end-to-end S2S pipelines using Amazon Nova Sonic v1.0, Azure OpenAI Realtime (GPT-4o), and Gemini 2.5 Flash Native Audio
    • Develop speech models integrating with vision and text modalities in AI agents
    • Implement speech capabilities with LangChain/LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, LlamaIndex, and OpenAI Assistants API
  • MLOps & Production Engineering:
    • Implement comprehensive MLOps pipelines using MLflow, Weights & Biases, and automated CI/CD
    • Deploy speech models across AWS Bedrock, Google Cloud AI, and Azure Cognitive Services
    • Build WebSocket-based streaming audio systems handling 1000+ concurrent connections
    • Implement WER tracking, latency monitoring, and multi-provider failover mechanisms
  • Research & Development:
    • Stay current with latest speech AI breakthroughs and implement novel architectures
    • Optimize models for real-time inference using TensorRT, ONNX, and edge deployment
    • Build scalable audio ingestion, preprocessing, and augmentation systems
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong technical skills and relevant experience in speech AI. You should also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in speech AI models, ASR Systems, TTS Systems, Speech-to-Speech, Cloud Services
  • Strong programming skills in languages like Python, C++, Java, etc.
  • Experience with ML frameworks, audio processing, and agent frameworks
  • MLOps tools, workflow orchestration, containerization, and cloud services experience
