About the Role

JLL is seeking a Senior GCP Engineer to lead our infrastructure automation efforts. As a key member of our team, you will design and implement automation solutions to enable efficient and scalable deployment of GCP resources and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated workflows, scripts, and tools to enable efficient and scalable deployment of GCP resources and services.
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform or Deployment Manager to provision and manage GCP resources consistently and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with development teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for GCP applications.
  • Optimize the performance of GCP infrastructure components to ensure scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Work closely with the security team to implement best practices and ensure GCP resources and services are secured against potential threats.
  • Document deployment processes, system configurations, and automation workflows.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in designing and managing infrastructure on GCP, with hands-on experience in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform, GCP Deployment Manager, or similar technologies.
  • Strong programming and scripting skills, preferably in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) technologies such as GitHub Actions, Terraform Cloud, Octopus, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of networking principles, including VPN, VPC, firewalls, and load balancers within GCP.
