Job Title: Assistant Director

About the Role:

This position oversees an array of programs and services for career exploration, job planning, career workshops, outreach programs, higher education opportunities etc for students.

The incumbent directs strategic planning, establishes short and long-term goals and ensures day-to-day operations align with University goals.

Career development initiatives are implemented to provide career opportunities across a broad mix of academic, government, non-profit, public, and corporate sectors.

The role involves playing the advisor to students for job-search process, interview preparation, resume writing and all other facets of career planning.

Close collaboration is required with Deans of Schools, Alumni network to identify opportunities for students. Information dissemination on career services and student development activities for stakeholders through appropriate media channels is also part of this role.

A key responsibility includes staying current on placement trends, educating, developing skills, training, and preparing students as necessary.

The successful candidate will oversee career fairs, workshops, alumni events, seminars, promotional activities and enhance external relations through meetings and field visits to tap new accounts across local, national, and international sectors.

To ensure maximum CTC and quality of placements/internships as per Institution's standards.

This position also involves monitoring and reviewing on-campus recruitment/interview process and job offered to students, developing career services to make it more effective.

Specific educational pathways, partnership programs catering to learning support needs of students including technology-based programs must be developed.

Leverage partnerships opportunities by working with Deans of Krea to enhance student recruitment, enrich learning opportunities through exchange programs for staff and students and promote digitally enabled activities.

Fiscal management in line with University policies is also a requirement, along with extensive travel requirements as needed.
