About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Head of Legal with a proven track record of delivering high-quality legal services in a fast-paced environment.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To provide comprehensive legal oversight and manage all aspects of legal services for the company and its subsidiary companies.
  2. To establish and evolve appropriate legal systems, procedures, and frameworks for the organization.
  3. To provide strategic legal counsel to senior management on key business initiatives and ensure that the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations.
  4. To develop and oversee litigation strategies, coordinate dispute resolution processes, and engage with government departments and regulatory authorities as necessary.
  5. To coordinate with solicitors and counsels for litigations, represent the company in court, and provide guidance and instructions to legal counsel/advocates.
  6. To draft and vet critical legal documents, including MOUs, Development Agreements, Project Management Agreements, Agreements for Sale, Powers of Attorney, Lease Deeds, Conveyance Deeds, Assignments, Declarations under the MAO Act, Deeds of Apartment, Deeds of Indemnity, and documents pertaining to RERA and GST compliance.
  7. To maintain and manage all relevant legal and statutory records for the company.
  8. To conduct detailed analysis of legal cases, identify potential issues, and provide proactive solutions to mitigate risks at the initial stages.
  9. To advise and collaborate with various functional departments on legal matters impacting their operations.
  10. To develop, lead, and manage an effective legal team, fostering professional growth and excellence.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 20 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is ₹2500000 - ₹3500000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
