About the Role

We are seeking a Lead BIM Specialist - MEP Services to join our team. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of Revit and experience in preparing general arrangement drawings, concept, schematic, detail design, and GFC stages.

The role involves:

  • Leading the implementation of BIM processes and standards within the design team and across project stakeholders
  • Facilitating collaboration among architects, engineers, contractors, and other project team members using BIM
  • Overseeing the development of detailed 3D models using BIM software
  • Managing and organizing data associated with the BIM model
  • Utilizing clash detection tools to identify and resolve conflicts in the design
  • Generating construction documentation directly from the BIM model
  • Implementing quality control processes to review BIM models
  • Providing training and support to team members on BIM tools and processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma or degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of Revit
  • Core knowledge of MEP services with specialization in one service as a minimum
  • Experience in preparing general arrangement drawings, concept, schematic, detail design, and GFC stages
  • Knowledge of 3D modeling tools such as Revit and Navisworks
  • A robust knowledge of Building Services design and experience of services full coordination
