About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Data Scientist/Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop advanced data analysis and visualization tools using R, Shiny, and Python.
  • Develop web-based applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for customizing the appearance and behavior of Shiny applications.
  • Integrate Shiny applications with databases (e.g., SQL databases) for data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
  • Write unit tests, perform debugging, and troubleshoot issues within Shiny applications.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in R Programming.
  • Advanced Shiny Development, including reactivity, modules, layouts, and custom input/output components.
  • Familiarity with Python and Selenium testing framework.
  • Data Visualization: Ability to create interactive and insightful visualizations using libraries like Plotly, within Shiny apps.
  • Database Integration: Experience in integrating Shiny applications with databases (e.g., SQL databases) for data storage, retrieval, and manipulation.
  • Version Control: Proficiency in Git for collaborative development and code management.
  • Performance Optimization: Skills to optimize Shiny applications for performance, including minimizing load times, improving responsiveness, and handling large datasets efficiently.
  • Testing and Debugging: Ability to write unit tests, perform debugging, and troubleshoot issues within Shiny applications.
  • Strong communication skills to understand requirements, document application features, and effectively communicate technical concepts.
