We are seeking a professional who can analyze complex data, translate findings into actionable strategies and empower teams to make confident decisions.

This role involves Data Interpretation & Strategic Insights (25%), where you will:

  • Analyze datasets to identify critical patterns, trends and anomalies.
  • Transform raw analytics outputs into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Conduct deep analyses on customer behavior, sales performance, inventory optimization and market trends.
  • Develop data-driven hypotheses and validate them through comprehensive analytical investigations.
  • Create executive-level insights summaries that translate technical findings into business language.
  • Identify correlations and causations in data that inform strategic business decisions.

Team Enablement (20%) requires:

  • Training cross-functional teams on data interpretation, analytics tools and data-driven decision making.
  • Developing standardized frameworks and methodologies for independent analysis and interpretation.
  • Creating data literacy programs tailored to different organizational levels and functional areas.
  • Facilitating data interpretation workshops and training sessions for business stakeholders.
  • Designing self-service analytics guidelines and best practices for non-technical users.
  • Mentoring business teams on asking the right analytical questions and interpreting results correctly.

Strategic Decision Support (25%) entails:

  • Partnering with business leaders to translate strategic questions into analytical frameworks and data requirements.
  • Providing data-backed recommendations for key business decisions including product launches, market expansion and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Developing and maintaining strategic KPI frameworks that align with business objectives and data capabilities.
  • Leading data-driven strategic planning sessions and quarterly business reviews.
  • Creating scenario analysis and predictive models to support strategic planning and risk assessment.
  • Validating business assumptions and strategies through comprehensive data analysis.

Analytics Strategy & Implementation (25%) involves:

  • Designing analytics roadmaps that align data capabilities with business strategic priorities.
  • Collaborating with technical teams to ensure data models and dashboards support strategic decision-making needs.
  • Defining and prioritizing analytics use cases that deliver maximum business value.
  • Establishing data governance frameworks for strategic decision-making processes.
  • Monitoring and optimizing the effectiveness of data-driven strategies and recommending improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics or related quantitative field.

PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • MBA or Master's degree in Business Administration, Strategy or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence or analytics consulting in retail.
  • Proven track record of translating data insights into successful business strategies.
  • Experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams in strategic decision-making processes.
