Job Title: Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • Perform engineering activities covering all key areas of instrumentation technology including field instruments, control and shutdown valves, analyzer and control systems.
  • Review and update equipment maintenance strategy for instrumentation e.g. Transmitters, control valves, flow meters, analyzers.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance and engineering teams to ensure alignment of maintenance strategies with operational priorities.
  • Understand asset criticality analysis and asset strategy management.
  • Understand Preventive Predictive Condition monitoring tasks with respect to assets.
  • Standardize instrumentation maintenance procedure and test intervals across similar asset classes.
  • Knowledge of hazardous area classification international instrumentation standards.
  • Skilled Instrument Maintenance Technicians with understanding of the preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of field instrumentation including control valves on-off valves various field instruments.

Purpose Accountabilities: As an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer you will lead the effort to developing assigning and managing maintenance strategies for field instrumentation equipment. The role supports asset reliability by developing and assigning appropriate equipment strategy.
