Job Description

  • Work as part of a remote team on various projects using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Develop and maintain robust Laravel applications with efficient database management.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of core PHP concepts, including object-oriented programming and data types.
  • Experience with the Laravel Framework, focusing on MVC architecture, routes, controllers, models, migrations, and blade templates.
  • Basic knowledge of MySQL or PostgreSQL, including query writing and understanding relationships (one-to-one, one-to-many, many-to-many).
  • Frontend fundamentals for integrating with Laravel views, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • REST APIs – Understanding how to consume and build APIs.
  • Version Control (Git/GitHub) – Basic commands like commit, push, pull, and branching.
  • Composer – Knowledge of package management in Laravel.
  • Basic Debugging – Ability to troubleshoot errors and use Laravel's error logs.

Good-to-Have Skills

  • AJAX / jQuery – For dynamic frontend interactions.
  • Bootstrap / Tailwind CSS – Styling and responsive design.
  • Authentication & Authorization – Laravel's built-in auth system basics.
