Quantitative Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled quantitative researcher to join our team.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematical and statistical analysis, with experience in developing and deploying automated systematic strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of trading algorithms, rigorous back-testing, and optimization techniques. The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing existing research initiatives and exploring new avenues for quantitative research and trading.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement sophisticated trading algorithms using C++ or C programming languages.
  • Rigorously back-test and optimize trading strategies to ensure maximum returns.
  • Advance existing research initiatives and explore new avenues for quantitative research and trading.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research findings into our trading platform.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of live High-Frequency Trading (HFT) experience.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical aptitude, with a proven track record of delivering high Sharpe ratios.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or Matlab for statistical/data analysis of HFT tick data.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Possess a degree in a highly analytical field, such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
