Key Public Relations Position

Job Overview:

The successful candidate will work closely with clients and media to build strong relationships and networks, ensuring exceptional service and retention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise daily with clients and the media via telephone and email to foster collaboration and promote mutual understanding.
  • Develop and execute crisis management strategies to meet client expectations and maintain a high level of satisfaction.
  • Provide clients with timely updates on promotional opportunities and PR campaign progress.

Media Analysis & Coverage:

  • Monitor traditional and digital media sources, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, social media, podcasts, blogs, and newswires for relevant information.
  • Collate, analyse, and evaluate media coverage to track opportunities for publications and identify areas for improvement.

Publicity & Campaign Management:

  • Design and implement effective publicity strategies and campaigns, creating quarterly roadmaps to ensure seamless execution.
  • Prepare engaging briefs, scripts, campaign taglines, and responses for interviews, promoting news stories and features.
  • Write and disseminate press releases, articles, and features to targeted media, documenting all campaigns and testimonials.

Event Organisation:

  • Coordinate and manage press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours, and visits to create impactful experiences.
  • Attend and promote client events to media and PR platforms, coordinating studio or location photography to capture memorable moments.

Brand Development:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with brands and third parties on behalf of the organisation.
  • Develop quarterly and annual roadmaps in line with business goals, leveraging partnerships and sponsorships to drive growth.

Influencer & Thought Leadership Engagement:

  • Build relationships with industry leaders to increase awareness and conduct trend forecasting for clients and their industries.

Research & Analysis:

  • Commission and undertake market research to analyse industry trends affecting clients and recommend communication strategies.

Team Contribution:

  • Motivate the team and encourage a collaborative, friendly work environment, maintaining proper documentation across initiatives.
