Senior Project Manager - Urban Development

This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in the field of urban development, overseeing large-scale projects and leading cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of centrally sponsored urban housing schemes at the state level.
  • Team Leadership: Develop and manage project management activities, including timelines, budgeting, and team coordination for effective on-ground delivery.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with government officials, private developers, financial institutions, consultants, and communities to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Technical Expertise: Implement and maintain IT-enabled platforms for project monitoring, geo-tagging, beneficiary databases, and real-time dashboards.
  • Communication: Liaise with stakeholders, both English and Marathi speaking, for effective project communication and public outreach.

Requirements:

  • Degree Requirements: Master's degree in Engineering, Management, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Computer Science, Finance, or related fields.
  • Certifications: Preference for candidates with certifications in Project Management (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP), Data Analytics, or MIS.
  • Experience: Minimum 9 years in project/program management, with at least 4-5 years handling government, housing, infrastructure, or urban development projects.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Project Management: Large-scale project management, monitoring, and real-time progress tracking.
  • Financial Management: Fund flow, subsidy tracking, utilization certificates, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • IT and Data Analytics: Experience with MIS, dashboards, process automation, and digital reporting platforms.
  • Strategy Development: Multi-stakeholder coordination and liaison.
  • Leadership: Team leadership and capacity building.
  • Languages: Proficiency in Marathi and English (verbal and written).
