Job Title: Accounts Manager

About the Role:

This is a leadership position for an AR team, and the ideal candidate should have extensive experience in accounts receivable with a strong track record of managing teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the order-to-cash process including billing, collections, and dispute resolution.
  • Ensure accurate and timely invoicing as per service level agreements, with all supporting documentation.
  • Review client contracts to prevent any discrepancies in invoicing.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues such as billing errors, late payments, and AR reconciliations.
  • Communicate with clients via email and phone for collection of overdue payments.
  • Record customer feedback and facilitate prompt resolution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for timely issue resolution.
  • Ensure achievement of team KPIs and individual deliverables.
  • Monitor and manage collections in line with contract TATs.
  • Generate accurate and timely reports for collections.
  • Raise payment release requests to the finance department for salary disbursements to associates.
  • Conduct client visits as required.
  • Identify and escalate high-risk accounts to management.
  • Drive continuous process improvements and best practices.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, and related correspondence.

Qualifications required:

  • Graduate degree in commerce or a related field. An MBA in finance would be an asset.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel.
