About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Developer with hands-on experience in CodeIgniter to join our development team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Web Applications: Utilize PHP and CodeIgniter to build, test, and maintain web applications.
  • Write Clean, Well-Structured Code: Implement best practices for clean, well-structured code.
  • Integrate Frontend and Backend: Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Optimize Database Performance: Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and APIs (MySQL/other databases).
  • Troubleshoot and Debug: Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing applications.
  • Collaborate with Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quality solutions.
  • Stay Updated on Emerging Technologies: Stay updated with emerging web technologies and propose improvements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven Experience as Software Developer: 2-4 years of proven experience as a PHP Developer.
  • Strong Expertise in CodeIgniter: Strong expertise in CodeIgniter framework.
  • Solid Understanding of Programming Languages: Solid understanding of PHP 7/8, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Experience with APIs and Integrations: Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Familiarity with Version Control Tools: Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
  • Knowledge of MVC Architecture and OOP Concepts: Knowledge of MVC architecture and OOP concepts.
  • Understanding of Secure Coding Practices and Performance Optimization: Understanding of secure coding practices and performance optimization.
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills and Attention to Detail: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good to Have (Optional)

  • Experience with Other Frameworks: Experience with Laravel or other PHP frameworks.
  • Exposure to Cloud Platforms: Exposure to cloud platforms.
  • Knowledge of Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Education

  • Degree in Computer Science or IT: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
