Job Description:
As a senior animation expert, you will be responsible for mentoring and directing our artists in animation. You will provide training on Autodesk Maya & Blender Software for Film and Advertising needs, focusing on teaching animation and rigging in various styles. Your expertise in integrating software from Maya to Blender or vice versa is highly valued. Additionally, your ability to offer insights into experience as an animator and rigger in global cinema will be essential in enhancing the skills of our team members.

 

Responsibilities:
  • Provide training sessions on animation and rigging techniques using industry-standard software.
  • Develop and implement customized workflows for specific projects, ensuring seamless integration between Maya and Blender.
  • Offer one-on-one guidance and mentorship to junior animators and riggers, helping them to improve their skills and adapt to different animation styles.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective communication and efficient project delivery.
Requirements:
  • Mastery of animation principles and application.
  • Experience in working with animation software such as Autodesk Maya and Blender.
  • Ability to create complex rigs that facilitate animators' work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to adjust animation style to suit projects.
What We Offer:

Successful candidates will be responsible, collaborative, communicative, and willing to provide weekly reviews individually or in groups remotely. They will assist in designing training assignments and providing feedback, answer questions online via chat, and work part-time approximately 5-10 hours per week.
