Automation and Murex Testing Specialist

We are seeking a skilled automation specialist to fill the role of Murex testing expert. In this position, you will be responsible for end-to-end testing of Murex applications with a focus on automation, reconciliation, and functional validation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain test scripts using ONYX for Murex modules.
  • Prepare and execute automated test suites for all Murex releases ensuring comprehensive coverage.
  • Perform data validations using Murex MX Test to ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with business teams for test case reviews and with IT teams for deployments and fixes.
  • Manage defect lifecycles including articulating defects in detail assigning them to technical teams and tracking resolutions.
  • Perform functional regression and integration testing with a proper understanding of trade lifecycle.
  • Utilize UNIX and SQL for script execution and troubleshooting.
  • Work effectively independently or as part of a team to achieve project goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in Murex testing using Murex MX Test/ONYX.
  • Strong experience and understanding of testing Murex.
  • Hands-on automation experience with ONYX developing and executing test scripts.
  • Strong hands-on experience with UNIX and SQL.
  • Working experience in capital markets domain across various instruments especially fixed income.
  • Must have experience performing reconciliations.
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps tools like Jenkins Github Bitbucket.
  • Good communication presentation and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with business and IT teams managing defects effectively.
