Visual Innovation Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Visual Innovation Specialist who will push visual boundaries in Mixed Reality through experimentation, custom rendering, and procedural creativity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of real-time and offline rendering fundamentals, as well as proficiency in scripting inside Blender, Maya, Houdini, or similar DCCs.

The role involves prototyping new visuals, effects, and rendering methods for MR, writing custom shaders, scripting and automating workflows, and collaborating with developers and designers to bring ideas to life across MR devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative visual solutions for MR applications
  • Design and implement custom shaders and rendering pipelines
  • Script and automate workflows in Blender, Maya, Houdini, or similar DCCs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate MR visuals into products
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in MR and visual innovation

Requirements:

  • 2–5+ years of experience in a related field, such as Technical Art, Visual Effects, or Rendering
  • Strong understanding of real-time and offline rendering concepts
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python, MEL, or VEX
  • Ability to write and debug custom shaders
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
