Job Opportunity:

  • Lead the migration of SharePoint environments to a cloud-based infrastructure, ensuring seamless transition and minimizing downtime.
  • Patch, upgrade, and perform maintenance tasks on SharePoint Server environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Administer SharePoint on-premises systems, including configuration, security, permissions, and troubleshooting.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SharePoint patches, security updates, and vulnerability mitigation techniques to maintain a secure environment.
  • Automate routine tasks and administration using Windows PowerShell scripting to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to resolve issues and deliver timely solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ensure system availability and reliability in a 24x7 operational environment, providing technical support and guidance as needed.
  • Develop and maintain documentation and reports related to SharePoint administration, including best practices and lessons learned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience with SharePoint Online migration and administration, with a strong understanding of SPO migration skills.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint On-premises administration, patching, and maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Proficient in Windows PowerShell for SharePoint automation and management, with expertise in scripting and automation.
  • Understanding of the latest SharePoint patches, security updates, and vulnerability mitigation techniques, with the ability to apply them in a real-world environment.
  • Powershell scripting expertise beyond basic administration, with the ability to develop custom scripts and tools.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 suite of products, including Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Strong team player attitude, with a willingness to assist and collaborate within the team.
  • Self-motivated and quality-focused approach, with a commitment to delivering reliable SharePoint services.
