Senior User Researcher Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior User Researcher to join our growing User Research team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in an energetic and agile environment.

We aim to empower people to connect, learn, and foster community with products that are simple, seamless, powerful, and do it all in one place. Our User Experience team obsesses about creating the best experience for anyone who plans and attends meetings and events.

  • You will design and conduct evaluative research (e.g., card sort, tree testing, usability, heuristics evaluations) and support generative research efforts for specified products or small program areas to build deep user understanding and empathy.
  • You will collaborate with cross-functional teams by synthesizing and communicating key information, defining and measuring success.
  • You will develop testable hypotheses and use research findings to support, challenge, and innovate product development.
  • Apply your expertise and knowledge of research methodologies, human factors, the user-centered design process, and statistics to product and service design in an iterative development environment.
  • You will work closely with design, analytics, product management, customer support, marketing, and sales to formulate and address research questions.
  • Independently and collaboratively plan, execute, and analyze research across product or program areas.
  • You will perform qualitative data analysis and support ongoing coding efforts.
  • You will assist with survey design and execution as well as perform statistical analyses.
  • You will undertake secondary research scans and comparative/competitive analysis.
  • You will contribute to evolving User Research practice within a small team.
Requirements for Success
  • Bachelor's and/or master's degree in the study of user experience, design, research, business, or related fields; for example, Information Design, Human Factors/HCI, Psychology, Cognitive Sciences OR alternative equivalent project/portfolio experience.
  • 4 to 19 years' conducting user research within a UX team for software/web-based products.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of user-centered design principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry and experience of working on enterprise software (desirable).
  • Experience with one or more of the following is beneficial:
  • Quantitative survey programming and analysis.
  • UX Research for Meeting/Event Planners, Attendees software.
  • UX Research for Mobile app or web development.
  • Managing and recruiting a usability lab.
  • Developing and executing research in support of product globalization.
  • Establishing and/or managing product/software baseline measurement system.
