Senior Financial Modeler

This exciting opportunity allows you to utilize your expertise in financial modelling to contribute to the growth of a leading renewable energy company.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Build, Develop, and Run Comprehensive Financial Models: Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive financial models for Solar PV and Energy Storage projects.
  • Evaluate RFPs and Populate Assumptions: Analyze Requests for Proposal (RFPs) to extract relevant information and structure it into the financial model used for bidding processes.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Development, Project Financing, Finance, EPC, and other teams to ensure accurate inputs and assumptions for the financial model.
  • Support Case Runs and Scenarios: Assist Development, EPC, and Financing teams in running case runs and scenarios to optimize economic benefits and identify key drivers.
  • Model Audit and Assistance: Support model auditors during the model audit process and assist lenders with model review during project finance processes.
  • Complete Ownership and Maintenance: Take complete ownership of financial models, ensuring their accuracy and reliability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Present Financial Analysis: Prepare presentations highlighting the financial analysis and insights derived from the models.
  • Train and Supervise Junior Modelers: Provide guidance, training, and supervision to junior modelers to enhance their skills and knowledge in financial modelling.
  • Other Tasks and Assignments: Perform additional tasks and responsibilities assigned by senior executives.
    • Requirements:
    • Business, Finance, or Accounting Degree: Hold a degree in business, finance, or accounting from a reputable institution.
    • 10+ Years of Financial Modelling Experience: Possess at least 10 years of experience in building, developing, and running project finance-based financial models.
    • 4-5 Years of Solar/Renewable Experience: Have at least 4-5 years of experience in financial modelling for solar and renewable projects.
    • Hands-on Execution and Can-do Attitude: Demonstrate strong hands-on execution capability, a can-do attitude, and a passion for financial modelling.
    • Team Environment and Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and engage in cross-functional collaboration.
    • Recognized University Degree: Hold a recognized university degree - Bachelor or above.
