Enterprise Oracle Database Administrator

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to lead our database administration team as an Enterprise Oracle Database Administrator. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of designing and implementing scalable, high-availability, and secure database solutions on the Oracle platform.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle databases and monitoring tools, including Oracle Enterprise Manager and third-party software. They will also possess excellent communication skills to present technical scenarios at various levels.

We require a minimum of 12 years of enterprise database administration experience, with at least 10 years of experience working with Oracle databases. The candidate should be proficient in creating solution and architectural views, assessing IT landscapes, and contributing to whitepapers and knowledge bases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement robust database administration solutions
  • Manage resource allocation, security, backup, and recovery
  • Monitor and tune database performance
  • Plan and implement failover between database instances

Qualifications:

  • B-Tech degree
  • Primary skill: Data Center - DATABASE - ORACLE DBA

This is a senior-level position that requires a deep understanding of Oracle database administration and a proven track record of delivering complex solutions in an enterprise environment.
