Job Title: Optometric Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Optometric Assistant. In this role, you will work closely with licensed optometrists to provide exceptional patient care and support the overall success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preliminary eye exams and assist optometrists during examinations
  • Educate patients on proper eye care and lens options
  • Provide top-notch customer service and ensure a positive experience for all patients
  • Assist in maintaining accurate patient records and inventory of products
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the office

Requirements:

  • No prior experience required; we provide comprehensive training
  • A passion for helping others and interest in the eye care industry
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving abilities
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as an optician is a plus
