Job Summary:

As an ETL and Power BI Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of ETL pipelines deployed into Azure cloud environments.

Your role will involve designing and developing comprehensive test cases to validate data flows, transformations, and system behaviors using Python scripting and Pytest framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop manual and automated test cases for Azure Data Factory ETL pipelines using Python and Pytest\
  • Validate data transformations, data mappings, and data integrity through SQL queries and data profiling\
  • Automate functional, regression, and performance tests of ETL workflows to ensure pipeline reliability\
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and developers to understand ETL and Power BI specifications and data flow requirements\
  • Document Test plans, Test Cases, defects, and provide timely feedback on issues\
  • Maintain Test automation frameworks, leveraging Pytest fixtures and libraries to validate Azure data factory activities\
  • Ensure seamless integration with CI/CD platforms like Azure DevOps and GitHub\
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for test procedures and results\
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in ETL, Power BI, and Azure\
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation
