We are seeking an expert in complex system debugging and trace analysis to drive the strategy and execution of debug flows for SoCs and automotive-grade ECUs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define Debugging Strategies: Develop strategies across SoC subsystems (CPU, GPU, ISP, PCIe, DDR, CAN, Ethernet, etc.) to ensure efficient debugging and analysis.
  • Silicon Bring-Up and Low-Level Debugging: Lead low-level hardware/software co-debug activities using JTAG, SWD, and trace tools to resolve intricate system-level issues.
  • Configure ARM CoreSight and ETM: Drive runtime visibility and performance analysis by configuring and utilizing ARM CoreSight, ETM, STM, and trace infrastructure.
  • Advanced Debug Methodology: Drive debug methodology using Lauterbach, Segger, or equivalent emulators; oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for board-level analysis.
  • Issue Analysis and Resolution: Analyze crash dumps, core traces, and performance logs to root-cause issues spanning silicon, firmware, and board domains.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 12–15 years of experience: Deep expertise in embedded systems or silicon validation with strong focus on trace and debug.
  • JTAG, SWD, and CoreSight: Strong proficiency in JTAG, SWD, CoreSight, ETM, STM, Trace32, Lauterbach, and related tools.
  • C/C++ and Scripting: Strong proficiency in C/C++ and scripting (Python/Perl) for debug automation and log analysis.
