Job Title: Technical API Specialist

 

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced API Testing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and executing test plans to ensure the quality of our APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans for API functionality to guarantee seamless integration with third-party systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts to meet project milestones.
  • Design and implement automated testing frameworks using tools such as Postman, Swagger, and Restsharp to streamline testing processes.
  • Conduct thorough testing of API endpoints and integrations to ensure compatibility and reliability.
  • Identify and report defects and provide recommendations for remediation to minimize downtime.
  • Work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues to maintain a high level of service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve testing methodologies.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of experience in API testing and software development.
  • A strong understanding of API design principles and testing methodologies to ensure best practices.
  • Experience with automation testing frameworks (e.g., Playwright, Selenium with C#) to optimize testing efficiency.
  • Proficiency in SQL database management and querying to efficiently manage data.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
