Key Industrial Consulting Role

Our team plays a vital part in the success of our clients by providing them with valuable insights and customized research. We work closely with senior business leaders to help them find solutions to their challenges and capitalize on opportunities.

We are currently looking for experienced professionals who have an interest in delivering projects for global customers across various industries, including Construction, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Renewable Energy, Metal, and Mining. Focusing on critical business intelligence, researching and analyzing market dynamics, and helping clients make informed decisions based on actionable insights.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Partnering with clients and senior leaders to understand strategic choices and problem areas
  2. Working with a team of consultants to deliver end-to-end projects with limited supervision from principal consultants
  3. Analyzing data, creating business forecast models to predict future trends, and developing high-quality reports aligned with client requirements
  4. Delivering projects successfully to clients on time, within scope, and budget
  5. As a team lead, initiating, planning, and executing projects through constant tracking, predicting, and mitigating risks
  6. Collaborating closely with subordinate teams and senior management at both the client and GlobalData levels

In this role, you will be a trusted partner to clients and subject matter expert within the team. Your responsibilities will include defining project scope, execution plans, and key deliverables and timelines while engaging with clients and leadership teams. You will also think creatively to develop long-term perspectives, demonstrate ability to deliver high-quality reports, and autonomously drive projects independently.

You should be able to develop well-articulated recommendations and communicate them effectively to clients. Additionally, you will support the sales and BD team by contributing to project feasibility assessments, effort estimations, and proposal development.

This role requires:

  • Expert project management skills to deliver end-to-end projects
  • Leadership skills to manage teams of consultants and senior consultants
  • Strong client relationship-building abilities
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and advanced Excel
  • Data mining skills using company filings, industry statistics, government documents, and macro-economic trend interpretation
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial sectors such as Construction, Energy, Mining, and Automotive, with a minimum 8-10 years of experience delivering industrial consulting projects
