Job Title: Automotive Embedded Hardware Director

Description:

  • The position oversees the technical execution of automotive electronics hardware for global vehicle OEMs, encompassing instrument clusters, infotainment systems, cameras, information displays, and cockpit electronics controllers.
  • Review customer specifications to ensure compliance with established requirements.
  • Design and develop advanced automotive products leveraging microcontrollers, system-on-chips, high-speed memory, LVDS, FPD Link-III circuitry, and other cutting-edge technologies.
  • Generate and maintain schematic and assembly drawings within our structured change management process.
  • Develop and maintain electrical DFMEA and provide essential electrical information for PCB layout.
  • Support product design reviews, hardware prototype builds, EMC and validation testing.
  • Present product designs, analysis, and testing results to customers effectively.
  • Laboratory equipment proficiency in power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, and multi-meters is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical hardware design, development, and implementation.
  • Customer specification review and adherence.
  • Product design, development, testing, and validation.
  • Schematic and assembly drawing creation, maintenance, and updates.
  • DFMEA development and ongoing maintenance.
  • ECAD support and PCB layout generation.
  • Hardware prototype build and support services.
  • EMC and validation testing procedures.
  • Laboratory equipment operation and maintenance expertise.
