Memory Design Engineer Position

We are seeking an experienced Memory Design Engineer to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom layout design for memory compilers and be proficient in using Cadence Virtuoso.
  • Responsibilities include developing custom layout design memory compilers, performing detailed physical array planning, area optimization, critical wire analysis, and custom leaf cell layout.
  • The successful candidate will also have experience with advanced FinFET processes in 5nm and solid knowledge of power planning, electromigration, voltage drop (IR), ESD, and other reliability checks on layouts.
  • Additionally, the candidate will provide feedback to circuit design engineers for new feature feasibility studies and implement circuit enhancement requests.

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with layouts of critical memory building blocks like control, sense amplifiers, I/O Blocks, bit cell array, decoders, etc., in compiler context.
  • Strong understanding of scripting languages and experience with SKILL coding is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 3-6 years of experience in custom layout physical design.
