Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled General Accounting Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.

The role involves processing transactions, preparing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring accurate accounts reconciliations, and maintaining compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

As a General Accounting Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the overall financial management of the organization, working closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of financial information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process transactions, including accruals, allocations, journals, and other accounting entries;
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including month-end reporting, to ensure accuracy and timeliness;
  • Maintain accurate accounts reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies or issues that arise;
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to financial management;
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide timely and accurate financial information;
  • Perform other duties as required, including process improvement initiatives and system implementation projects.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Accounting or a related field (B.Com/M.Com/MBA Finance);
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in finance and accounts;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other accounting software;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
