Data Science Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Scientist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to apply their expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and Computer Vision techniques to drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing complex data sets to identify trends and patterns, and developing predictive models to forecast future outcomes.
  • Designing and implementing end-to-end data science solutions using structured and unstructured data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
  • Developing statistical models and applying appropriate techniques such as Exploratory Analysis, Regression, and Association to explore data and answer specific research questions.
  • Presenting analytical insights derived from data analysis to executives and stakeholders, and communicating complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML technologies and applying them to real-world problems.
  • Working on various problem statements in AI-ML (NLP, CV & Predictive Analytics & Maintenance etc.)
  • Collaborating with the team to improve computational models through data and stakeholder feedback.
  • Mentoring junior data science team members as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer, working on real-world AI/ML projects.
  • Strong expertise in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and Computer Vision techniques.
  • Hands-on experience with Generative AI models and multi-modal neural networks and Transformer architectures.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, and key ML/DL libraries.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL-based and NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with statistical tools and platforms like WEKA, KNIME, Power BI, etc.
  • Working experience with Big Data technologies – HDFS, Spark, Hive, Sqoop, MapReduce.
  • Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) – any hands-on experience is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Domain experience in Automotive, Manufacturing, E-commerce, Aviation, or Digital Platforms is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team setting with a proactive mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Education: A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field is typically the minimum requirement. Preferred a master's degree in data science, or a related field for advanced roles.
  • Experience: Data Scientist requires 5+ years of experience in related fields such as database administration, data engineering, programming and data analytics.
