About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, managing, and overseeing filing of regular tax returns, including Income tax, TDS, GST, and any other direct or indirect tax filings. You will ensure that all compliances are done as per the statutory timelines. Additionally, you will develop and maintain Compliance procedures and risk assessment frameworks to ensure effective tax management.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparing and submitting tax returns and reports within the prescribed deadlines.
- Coordinating with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate implementation of tax strategies and policies.
- Identifying, tracking, and reporting potential tax risks or issues, and working closely with the accounting teams to implement appropriate solutions.
- Maintaining documentation and records related to tax filings, provisions, and other tax-related activities.

Requirements

- Minimum 5-6 years of experience as a professional in Taxation.
- Strong understanding and execution of Tax compliance in managing Direct and Indirect taxes.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

- Ability to demonstrate strong Microsoft Office skills (especially MS Excel).
- Familiarity with Oracle and knowledge of Tax management software.
