Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the development of our back-end stack. This role involves analyzing, coding, and building new features to enhance our Crypto platform's business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on development experience using Java, Spring Core, and Spring Batch.
  • Strong understanding and application of object-oriented design and development principles.
  • Solid analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in developing data-driven applications using RDBMS (Oracle, DB, etc.), with strong data architecture, SQL development, and data modeling skills.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages (Unix Shell, Perl, Python) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of data modeling and experience with relational databases, ElasticSearch (Kibana), Hadoop.
  • Proficiency in software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with REST APIs, Web Services, JMS, and build tools.
  • Exposure to application performance tuning and unit testing (including tools).
  • Skilled in industry-standard development tools (IDE, Version Control, Continuous Integration).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex product requirements and technical concepts.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to handle concurrent priorities.
  • Ability to write efficient, reusable, and clean code without unnecessary complication.
  • Proven ability to manage workload efficiently and resolve time-critical issues professionally.
  • Domain expertise in online payments and related areas is a plus.
  • Ability to mentor junior engineers by providing technical and business guidance.
Requirements:

Required Skills:
  • Strong skills in Java, Scala, Spark & Raptor and development.
  • Strong skills in Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST, Maven, GitHub, and other open-source Java libraries.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong understanding of software development/ delivery lifecycle.
  • Proven track record working with real-world projects and delivering complex software projects from concept to production, with a focus on scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Good knowledge of data structures and algorithm concepts, as well as database, tuning and query optimization.
  • Identify any product/functionality gaps and collaborate internal product and technology teams to define the necessary development to support solution delivery.
  • Strong debugging and problem resolution skills and focus on automation, and test-driven development.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.
