Software Engineer Position

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies, as well as experience with Agile development, continuous integration, and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop key internal and customer-facing applications using Scala, Java, Spring Boot, PL/SQL, and Micro Services.
  • Build and use REST APIs, work with SQL databases, and run production services on cloud-based environments like AWS.
  • Collaborate with Lead Software Engineers, project managers, data analysts, and other developers in a fast-paced environment.
  • Identify and provide solutions for common needs across stakeholders, work with end users, and incorporate feedback into products.
  • Work with Product Management and Architecture Teams to chart Engineering backlogs and demo products to customers.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of programming experience, including full-stack development and strong skills in Scala, Java, Spring Boot, PL/SQL, and Micro Services.
  • Experience building and using REST APIs, working with SQL databases, and running production services on cloud-based environments like AWS.
  • Excellent communication skills, experience with trouble shooting distributed applications, and strong problem solving skills.
  • Proven experience producing and deploying production software, ability to work well with a distributed team of strong performers.
