Job Title: Assistant Director Intern

We are seeking an aspiring film professional to join our team in a dynamic and challenging role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for filmmaking, research, and storytelling in the science and technology domain.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on a high-impact documentary film project, requiring strong narrative craft and creative execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Director in day-to-day project activities during pre-production, production, and post-production.
  • Support in developing English-language scripts, treatments, and narrative structures.
  • Conduct background research on Space initiatives, history, and related topics.
  • Coordinate with the production team for scheduling, shot lists, and logistics.
  • Translate finalized English scripts into Hindi, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance.
  • Provide creative input for visuals, graphics, and storyboarding.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Film school student / recent graduate OR aspiring filmmaker with a keen interest in scientific films.
  • Strong command of English writing (script, narrative, research synthesis).
  • Familiarity with documentary filmmaking and/or government/educational films is preferred.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to dynamic production needs.
  • Curious, detail-oriented, and collaborative.
