Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Network Security Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing secure network infrastructures.

As a Network Security Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our networks and systems. This includes identifying and mitigating potential threats, configuring firewalls and other security devices, and implementing security policies and procedures.

  • Fundamental Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure network architectures
  • Configure and manage firewalls and other security devices
  • Maintain and update security policies and procedures
  • Monitor and analyze network traffic for signs of unauthorized access or malicious activity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and processes

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed as a Network Security Specialist, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Technical Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in network security
  • Extensive knowledge of firewall technologies and protocols
  • Experience with vulnerability assessment and penetration testing tools
  • Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance regulations
  • Certifications in CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar
