Job Description:

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the development of cutting-edge AI safety services and platforms. As Head of Engineering – AI Safety Services, you will play a critical role in building the guardrails that enable responsible innovation.

Your mission is to lead a cross-functional team in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality AI safety solutions. You will partner closely with clients to understand their needs, translate requirements into actionable roadmaps, and oversee the creation of tools for alignment assessment, adversarial testing, drift detection, interpretability analysis, and more.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong background in coaching and talent development, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and technical proficiency in languages such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, JavaScript, HTML/CSS. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a cross-functional team of AI engineers, platform engineers, and product managers.
  • Set clear goals, promote collaboration, and cultivate a culture of impact and rapid learning.
  • Implement agile processes to ensure speed, security, and quality in development.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience delivering AI/ML or data-intensive platforms.
  • Strong background in coaching and talent development.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Languages/Frameworks: Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, JavaScript, HTML/CSS.
  • Tools: Docker, Kubernetes, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases.
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
