Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general legal advice on various corporate projects and transactions, ensuring compliance with all corporate and sector-specific laws.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate transaction documents, working with external counsel to structure transactions and coordinate with stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the VP - Transactions to identify and pursue new business opportunities and develop strategies to achieve growth objectives.

Requirements:

  • PQE of between 4-7 years with prior experience in a reputable law firm and a law degree from a reputable law school.
  • Prior experience of having worked on private equity, venture capital, and M&A transactions.
  • In-depth knowledge of company law, exchange control law, RBI regulations, and other relevant corporate laws.
