We're seeking an experienced Cloud Technology Strategist to lead our Data Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with data engineers and scientists to design and implement data architecture and solutions. Your expertise in BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Data Flow, Cloud Storage, AI Platform/Vertex AI, Dataproc, and GCP IaaS will enable us to deliver secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Evaluating current technology landscapes and recommending short- and long-term technology strategic visions
  • Participating in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content, and new reference architectures
  • Collaborating with data engineers and scientists to develop data architecture and solutions
  • Assisting in ensuring smooth delivery of services and products

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 18+ years of experience in Data Engineering & Cloud Native technologies (including Google Cloud Platforms) covering big data, analytics, and AI/ML domains
  • Experience with BigQuery, Cloud Composer, Data Flow, Cloud Storage, AI Platform/Vertex AI, Dataproc, and GCP IaaS
  • Knowledge of general programming languages and frameworks, particularly Python and/or Java
  • Understanding of technology best practices and development lifecycles such as agile and CI/CD
  • Architecture skills enabling creation of future-proof complex global solutions using GCP services

Additionally, having experience in Container technology (Docker and Kubernetes), DevOps on GCP, and Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect Certification would be beneficial.
