Software Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Software Automation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to ensure high-quality releases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web, mobile, API, and backend systems
  • Design scalable and reusable test automation frameworks and libraries
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI)
  • Perform code reviews of test scripts and ensure best practices in test automation
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify testing requirements and coverage gaps
  • Conduct functional, regression, smoke, and performance testing using automated tools
  • Analyze test results, debug issues, and track defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA)
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 25 years of hands-on experience in test automation
  • Strong programming/scripting skills in one or more languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#)
  • Experience with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, JUnit)
  • Knowledge of REST API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured
  • Familiarity with version control tools like Git

  • Knowledge of cloud testing environments and cross-browser/device testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)

  • Exposure to containerized environments (e.g., Docker)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
