Your Role: Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer

We're seeking an experienced Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will work closely with development teams to translate scalability, performance, reliability, and functional requirements into virtualized/cloud computing solutions.

You will develop testing strategies, perform tests to reveal viability of cloud deployment solutions, administer and manage cloud computing clusters, assist engineer and development teams with the deployment of virtualized software services, and develop tools to check and report performance and security metrics for virtualized resources.

You will also support critical services and applications, identify technology challenges/problems, evaluate and implement innovative solutions using appropriate tools, make all development, testing, deployment, operations, and monitoring functions work together, and detect early errors, bugs, and issues to tackle them and solve them.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years working in software development on a variety of complex environments/projects.
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows and fixing engineering processes w.r.t. DevOps.
  • Must have work experience with containerization platforms such as Kubernetes, PKS, Docker, etc.
  • IAC tools experience with any of Terraform, Ansible, Saltstack, Puppet, Chef, Cloud Formation Templates.
  • Understanding of C#/.Net/.Net core/SQL software development process/environment (.Net + SQL Server + Azure).
  • Application performance analysis and monitoring.
  • Experience in Azure services like Azure DevOps, Function App (Dot Net Core), Logic Apps, ADF, Storage Accounts, Azure SQL, App Services, Azure Security roles, etc.
  • Good experience in configuration management for CI/CD environment w.r.t. build, release, and deployment including Data Pipeline.
  • Hands-on experience with Maven and Jenkins for the CI/CD DevOps pipeline process, coding & scripting languages such as Ruby, Perl, bash, Python, PowerShell, etc.
  • Knowledge of best practices of development, testing, operations, production, deployment, and monitoring.
