Job Overview:

As a Lead Observability Engineer, you will spearhead the development and implementation of cutting-edge observability platforms, ensuring high levels of reliability and performance across our Kubernetes and Azure environments.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in managing Elastic, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry platforms, as well as a strong understanding of operating observability solutions within cloud-based infrastructure.

You will have the opportunity to work on advanced AI-driven monitoring solutions, including anomaly detection, predictive alerting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the design, deployment, and maintenance of observability platforms (Elastic, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)
  • Develop and implement AI-driven observability solutions (anomaly detection, predictive alerts, forecasting)
  • Proactively identify and resolve system anomalies, data-quality issues, and alert noise
  • Act as a technical mentor, offering guidance and support to engineering teams

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with Elastic, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry platforms
  • Strong knowledge of operating observability solutions within Kubernetes and Azure environments
  • Proficiency in AI/ML concepts and their application to monitoring and analytics
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical ideas effectively
