Automation Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to join our team. This role involves developing and maintaining automated test scripts using the Karate Framework for UI and API testing.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML, as well as experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail). Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.) is also required.

Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for this position. The selected candidate will work closely with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to understand requirements and create effective test coverage.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using the Karate Framework for UI and API testing.
  • Design reusable, modular, and scalable automation frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to understand requirements and create effective test coverage.
  • Execute and analyze test results, identifying and reporting defects.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide detailed documentation of test plans, test cases, and execution reports.

Requirements:

  • Proven hands-on experience with Karate Framework for both API and UI automation.
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of QA methodologies and software testing lifecycle.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
