Job Title: Senior Data Architect Azure Databricks

We are seeking a seasoned data architect to design and implement cutting-edge data solutions using Azure Databricks. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing complex data pipelines, ensuring data quality, security, and scalability.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience in data engineering with a strong background in Azure and Databricks. You have a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions with speed and precision, and are passionate about building robust applications and driving technical innovation.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines using Azure Databricks.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop tailored data solutions.
  • Collaborate with data engineers to ensure efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve existing data architectures to meet evolving business needs.
  • Mentor junior team members to foster knowledge sharing and growth.

Requirements:

  • Strong expertise in Databricks (Delta Lake, Databricks SQL, Workflows, MLflow basics)
  • Azure Data Services (ADF, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL)
  • Python, SQL, Spark (with proven performance optimization skills)
  • Strong knowledge of modern data architectures (Lakehouse, governance)
  • Proven experience in working on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing tasks efficiently

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with AI-driven development tools (e.g., Cursor.ai, GitHub Copilot)
  • Familiarity with Generative AI in Databricks (LLMOps, Model Serving)
