Job Title: Technical Operations SpecialistJob Description

As a key member of our technical operations team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our database systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Database Administration: Perform daily tasks to ensure database health, including installation, configuration, upgrades, replication setup/monitoring, user management, and troubleshooting metadata locks, slow queries, replication lag, and optimizing performance.

  • Troubleshooting and Support: Troubleshoot and resolve L2 support tickets, escalating complex issues to L3 with proper RCA inputs.
  • DR Drills and Capacity Planning: Participate in DR drills, capacity planning, and system audits to ensure business continuity.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Base: Create and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base documentation to facilitate efficient knowledge sharing within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking a highly skilled individual with experience in database administration, server management, and IT operations. Key qualifications include:

  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of MySQL, Linux, and related technologies.
