We are seeking an exceptional Director of Innovation to spearhead our research and development initiatives for next-generation elevator solutions.

This role will involve leading cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge interior aesthetics into elevator cabin designs, while ensuring seamless integration with modern architectural styles and user expectations.

  • R&D Director responsibilities include developing innovative space-saving, energy-efficient, and user-friendly elevator solutions that meet the evolving needs of architects, designers, and homeowners.
  • Candidates must possess a deep understanding of ergonomics, space planning, and interior materials, as well as proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing interior cabin design and customization experience is essential, along with excellent problem-solving and cross-functional communication skills.
  • The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field, and 3-5 years of hands-on R&D experience in the elevator/lift manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends in interior and lift design.
  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to develop new products.
  • Innovate elevator solutions that meet modern housing interiors standards.
  • Prepare technical documents, design specs, and concept presentations.
  • Stay updated with safety standards, certifications, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on R&D experience in elevator/lift manufacturing industry.
  • Strong portfolio or experience in interior cabin design and customization for elevators.
  • Solid understanding of ergonomics, space planning, and interior materials.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software).
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about design-driven engineering.
