Job Summary

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Our team is based in Delhi, and we're willing to consider remote candidates who have the necessary skills and qualifications.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in system design, network protocols, and cloud platforms. They should be able to independently tackle complex technical challenges and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Design and Architecture: Design and implement scalable backend systems and architectures that support high traffic and real-time processing.
  • Security and Compliance: Develop and maintain secure APIs, ensuring best practices in network security, data encryption, and protection.
  • Parallel Computing: Utilize expertise in parallel computing to optimize performance, ensuring thread safety, deadlock prevention, and effective data sharing between threads.
  • Container Orchestration: Work with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes and Docker to ensure seamless deployment and management of services.
  • CICD Pipelines: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes and automated testing.
  • Team Leadership: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, efficient, and scalable solutions.
  • Mentorship and Training: Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices in software development.
  • Technical Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and security practices, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Troubleshooting and Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and security of deployed systems.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Provide technical leadership, guiding the team in adopting new tools, frameworks, or languages as necessary.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in backend development, including system design and architecture.
  • Strong understanding of web technologies, including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, web-sockets, and other network protocols.
  • Proficiency in network security principles, such as encryption, securing APIs, and data protection.
  • Experience with parallel computing: threading, concurrency, thread safety, data sharing, and deadlock prevention.
  • Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and others.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proven track record of handling complex technical projects independently.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new tech stacks, learning new languages or frameworks as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
  • Understanding of at least one object-oriented programming language, though specific language expertise is flexible.
