As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing and developing vehicle systems, including knowledge of automobile systems, EV related systems, especially two-wheelers. You will work on engineering Bills of Materials (BoM) and Change Notification (ECN) management, new product development cycles, and proficiency in design and drafting of parts with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) for vehicle systems.

  • Benchmarking and coordination with suppliers for Design for Manufacturability (DFM) & Design for Assembly (DFA) are essential skills required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle integration and engineering BoM & ECN management
  • Proficiency in Design & drafting of parts with GD&T for vehicle systems
  • Knowledge of complete New Product Development cycle
  • Strong ability to convert Technical requirements into detailed and robust designs
  • Knowledge of CMVR/Homologation requirement

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Solid Works is mandatory and hands-on experience in Part modeling, drafting, assembly, system layouts, and vehicle level layouts
  • PLM Knowledge and knowledge of Hyper mesh & CAE analysis
